This is one of my favorite Janet Jackson videos. Even though "Pleasure Principle" premiered the year I was born, this is one of my all time favorite. From her outfit (Adidas, Guess Jeans, Graphic Tee) the choreography, her dancing alone by herself in the video (who does that any way now of days in a video and it's still a monumental piece of art...I don't) and don't forget her co-star the 1.5 liter bottle of water.

I could go on for days about Janet she's an icon!

I guess back-to-school is making a come back in fashion, literally! Fall 2012 is all about Varsity Jackets, Large-Scale Monograms and Plaids. It's funny how everything comes back around full circe and repeats itself, I would've definitly kept a few things from my mother or sister's closet from their 90s wardrobe.

Jil Sander, German fashion designer, is one of the many designers who are taking advantage of The New Fall Prep.

What I love the most about September: is Fall fashion (cool leather jackets, boots, bold color scarves and gloves, cool sweaters etc., I could go on for days). Fashion Week is another, all the crazy designers come together as a unit to show off their fantastic Spring Collection, with all things you could never imagine are presented in those fashion shows that week in the Fashion Capital. But I live for the street fashion, ladies and gentleman put on their best for that week, there no other way but to come correct, you'll be amongst the best of them.
