I love Gold Ceilings, the first time I ever seen this done was about 3 years ago when the talented Candice Olsen from HGTV "Divine Design", did a family dining room ceiling "Gold Leaf".

One year after giving birth, Beyonce surely has her calender locked down with all these anticipated events for fans. HBO Documentary Special which was directed by King B herself, NFL Superbowl Halftime Show Takeover and New Album. I'm thinking Half Time Party in the works?? Always looking forward to new Beyonce material, but mainly anticipating the Miguel collaboration (he has really brought back the refreshing feel good music back to life)

I think her documentary "Life is but a Dream" is her special way to tap into the reality scene, since it's so trendy these days, so whether you like it or not, the world can't get enough of reality TV. But I will definitely be tuning in, have you seen the trailer??? You would wanna watch too, check out the trailer below...

My favorite song off "The MF Life" album is coming to life and it looks like a winner (1)Melanie Fiona (2) that  handsome Omari Hardwick (3) directed by Larenz Tate, somebody get me a brown paper bag because I'm hyperventilating over here...But seriously the Grammy nominated song "Wrong Side Of A Love Song" is in Best Traditional R&B Performance category and I so hope she wins this one. Her bark is truly as big as her bit! When I first heard "Love&War", it gave me chills and goosebumps! But I knew Lavish Libra Toni Braxton's youngest sister Tamar had it all along, remember her song "If You Don't Wanna Love Me" back in 2000? If your R&B, you'll love it! I'm so happy for her because she never gave up on herself and she wanted to share her powerhouse voice with the world again. One word....ICON! I'm such a huge fan of Janet Jackson even when I was younger, you would hear her iconic "Rhythm Nation" songs taking over the radio in the early 90s. But as I got older and wiser I learned to appreciate her music and impact even more. What I always loved about Janet is that she attacks all subject matters from love, making love to heartbreak and even politics in her music! Her style is so unique and like no other, she always finds ways to reinvent herself (this particular Native Tribal look is one of my favorites) . Does the name Tina Landon ring a bell, it will after you watch this video, Check out this vintage choreography & making of the video "If" below...

Hey Lavish people!! I haven't posted a post all 2013, been so busy with work, research, projects and searching for more work! Please forgive me. Happy New Year to you ALL!!! Hope you guys had a wonderful New Year. New dreams and new goals need to be conquered. I'm not one to do the resolution thing but, I love the fact that 2012 is the past.  So whatever mistakes or mishaps happen back then in 2012 was last year's news, so "get up and dust yourself off and try again" in 2013, Aaliyah said it best.

Been so inspired by this look from Lucky Magazine, I'm dreaming on finding the perfect parka for the spring. Here I go with already talking about spring fashion. I was suppose to have my parka last spring, but that's another story. But with fashion you have to always think ahead of seasons "trend forecasting" is the term. Planning on attending NY fashion week this February for the first time, so I'm beyond super excited. As much as I visit New York, I've never been to either Spring or Fall Fashion Week.
