Lavish Libra

It's been 6 days since "Two Eleven" released and I'm loving the reviews that Brandy has been getting from the new album! She definitely deserves all the credit. Brandy is one of my absolute favorite artist, ever since her "Brandy", "Moesha" and "Never Say Never" days. From the albums to all the movies, everyone that knows me, knows how much I'm a huge fan. I remember when "Never Say Never" debuted in 98'. I was so excited, I had my dad take my to the nearby Sam Goody to purchase it (I miss those record stores, they need a comeback), so young, but I had a love for R&B. Even the albums that didn't do so "good" on the charts were still good albums, such as "Afrodisiac", one of her greatest albums that was completely underestimated, I think the world wasn't ready for the album at the time it debuted.

This time around as always, I'm absolutely loving this new album. It's a new refresh sound and a new confidence that I never heard in Brandy before. It compliments a need for her already established fans "The Stars" and new fans. My album faves are "Wildest Dreams", "Slower" and "Music". The album visuals are completely on point with style and choreography. I think this is her time to shine again and get the credit she deserves.  Sunday, I visited The Clover Market in Ardmore. Its a outdoor market with vendors filled with cool crafted decor items for the home. Majority of the crafted items are made from collectible everyday life objects. We mainly browsed over 75 vendors. These greatly crafted graphic floral designs are, Made by Liddy, designs which I loved. I found out about so many uniquely crafted businesses.  I loved all of the vendors creative set up and presentation of their items. I never seen so much creativity made from everyday disposable items. I am a huge typography lover too.

While making my way back home last weekend, having Saturday breakfast at Cracker Barrel with my family, I came across something utterly fabulous, an event planing company called Feastivities. OMG I'm glad my brother decided to take this route. I always google places I ride by in the city that looks interesting to me.

I checked the company profile (Website, Facebook), and I was completely in love. Simply divine work. If you're ever planning an event and you live close to the greater Philadelphia area, definitely let them plan your next event. What really impressed me was the "under the table" concept they do with fruit. Such a incredible idea to take any event to the next level!

Loving this dress on Ashanti; with her baby sis, always love this sister duo. This LavishLibra celebrated her 32nd birthday last nite, hosted by her hot guy boyfriend, rapper Nelly. Love them as a couple. Libras and Scorpios seem like they make a cute match. Hope to hear wedding bells for them soon :-)

The lyrics to this song is truly incredible. Maxwell's voice is pure, crystal clear; going from the soft settle voice, than to strong raspy pure perfection. This collaboration is one of the best! It's a classic great expression of love.

Check out rap artist, Naeem The Great, from Brooklyn, NY. Just only 19 years-old and this young man has great talent. When I had first listened to his mixtape, "Came A Long Way" back in February, I was very impressed by the lyrics, production and delivery presented over the tracks. Naeem has great musical influences: Jay-Z, Kanye West and Meek Mill just to name a few. Naeem is currently in the studio working on a new mixtape and we can't wait to be the first to listen!

Last night of Jay-Z's sold out 8 day show. He ended the show at Brooklyn, NY new Barclay Stadium, with his wife as the surprise guest. Perfect way to end a show + during her performance Beyonce gave a Birthday shout out to her BFF Lavish Libra Gwyneth Paltrow!
